It is designed specifically for the BMW E30 series built from September 1985 and fits convertibles produced up to October 1990. The spoiler is intended for early E30s with the Type 2 metal valance and Euro chrome front bumper. This genuine ALPINA part fits sedans, coupés and convertibles from 1985–1987 and requires minor preparation—sanding, filling and primer—before painting. Mounting is straightforward: the spoiler bolts to the front valance using a few bolts and nuts or self‑tapping screws. Vehicles with the Type 1 valance (identified by four radiator‑cooling cutouts) require a different spoiler, so ensure your car has the Type 2 valance before ordering.
