ATTENTION!!! Replacing the steering wheel and steering wheel hub in vehicles with airbag systems will result in the driver's side airbag system being deactivated. Removing the driver's airbag may also have a negative impact on the vehicle's other airbag systems. The use of ALPINA steering wheels without airbags in vehicles equipped with airbag systems is intended exclusively for racing cars and motorsport. The installation of ALPINA steering wheels and steering wheel hubs may only be carried out by experienced automotive specialists after carefully reading the installation instructions. Incorrect installation of the steering wheel and/or steering wheel hub, or installation that does not comply with the instructions, can lead to malfunction and serious accidents with consequences for life and limb.
This hub is designed exclusively for racing use and is not approved for road use and does not have an ABE (general operating permit). Individual approval by a recognized testing organization is possible. Regulations apply in Germany.
